Charles Edward LeBlanc, 76, of Rockport, Texas passed away on February 12, 2017. He was born on January 21, 1941 in White Castle, Louisiana to Leonard LeBlanc and Elaine Curry LeBlanc Vandeveer.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Lilia LeBlanc; son, Eric Charles LeBlanc (Tommie Elizabeth); daughter, Michelle Yvette LeBlanc; brother, Kenneth LeBlanc; sisters, Susie Erspamer, Frances Iles; grandchildren, Ethan Nicholas LeBlanc, Lilia Jean LeBlanc and many dear friends.

Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was happiest when he was around them. He led an adventurous life, having lived in Colombia, United Kingdom, Iran and Brazil. Charles was the founder of Petromar Corporation which at its peak employed over 500 people and was headquartered in Rockport, Texas. Later, he spent time serving on the Aransas County Navigation District. He enjoyed spending time hunting with his friends in addition to a few trips to Lake Charles and Las Vegas, he lived his life to the fullest. Although he is gone his memory and funny stories will live in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 2pm - 9pm and a rosary at 7pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2pm. Interment to follow immediately after at Rockport Cemetery.
