Catheryne "Cathy" Little

Catheryne (Cathy) Reyes Little, 67, of Rockport, TX, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2021. She was born to Guadalupe G. Reyes and Lauvadi Ellen Hoey Reyes, on July 24, 1954 in Goliad, Texas.  She lived all her life in Texas, settling in Rockport, where she later met and married James (Jim) H. Little.  She was a Bookkeeper/Office Manager at The Rockport Pilot for 24 years before retiring in 2019.

Cathy was a beautiful, kind, caring, supportive, and spiritual person who touched the hearts of everyone she knew. She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, traveling, decorating her home and especially writing songs.

She is survived by her son, Tony Allen Reyes (Ruby) of Corpus Christi, stepsons, John H. Little of California, Eric J. Little (April) of Oklahoma and grandchildren Cassidy, Caiden, Addison, Zaydon, Catalina and Serena.  She also leaves behind sisters Juanita Gonzales, Joyce Reyes, Janet Pina (Oscar), Rachel Reyes, Terri Little Setterbo (sister-in-law) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who all adored and admired her.

She was preceded in death by her son James Justin Mayes, her husband James (Jim) H. Little, and sisters Betty Angle and Patty Reyes.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport, Texas.
