Carolyn Owen

Carolyn R. Owen, 73, passed away at her home in Aransas Pass, Texas on April 19, 2017. She was born on September 8, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Arthur and Maxine Scott.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert D. Owen Sr.; parents and her son, James Owen. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Scott E. Owen, John Owen, Jesse Cross, Robert Owen Jr.; numerous grandchildren and many dear friends.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother and dear friend to so many. She loved gardening and enjoyed talking to customers at the market. She owned Dockside Restaurant in Port Aransas for eighteen years and truly loved servicing the community. Although she is gone, her memories and life lessons will remain in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Port Aransas on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
