Carolyn James

Carolyn June James went to her heavenly home on January 24, 2018. She was 74 years old. She was born April 19, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Williams and Lucille Reese; husband, Raymond James; daughter, Rhonda Valenzuela; sister, Patricia Waters.

She is survived by her daughters, Melody Commander, and Vicki McElroy (Kenneth), grandchildren: Levi Dominguez, C.J. Commander (Sarah), Jamen Valenzuela, Wade McElroy (Chelsea), Raymond Valenzuela (Gabi), Caitlin Pruiett (Jake), and Maverick McElroy (Deona), and her beloved great-grandchildren.

Carol retired from Reynolds Metals Company after many years of service. Her passion was her family, and her purpose was to encourage and uplift others.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 9:00 am until funeral service time of 10:00 am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Pastor Scott Jones will be conducting the service. Interment to follow at the Rockport Cemetery.
