Carmela Solis

On July 27, 2022, our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend, Carmela M. Solis born February 6, 1953, closed her eyes to this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Agustin and Eustacia H. Moreno, her sister Maria M. Garcia, brothers Jesus, Delfino, Juan, Jose and Roman Moreno, and Emilia V. Solis who was a "second mom."

She is survived by her son Silvestre (Letty) Solis III, Carmelita (Rick) Ortiz, Rita (Ed) Reyna, Sylvia (David) Leal, and Veronica (Albert) Barrera. Her legacy will continue with her 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and future great grandchildren who will cherish her memory, and all the unconditional love she gave them. She is survived by her sister Antonia (Toni) M. Moreno, brothers, Guadalupe H. (Betty) Moreno and Agustin H. Moreno, and numerous nephews and nieces. We want to give a special thanks to all her Loteria/Bingo friends who kept her entertained and out late at night. LOL

Pall Bearers/Grandsons will be Branden Leal, Ruben Solis, Sean Leal, Ed Reyna, Brandon Cadriel, Silvestre Solis IV, Sebastian Solis, Rey Castillo, Albert Issac Barrera, Casey Montez.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-8:00pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Sunday July 31, 2022, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. The Funeral Mass will begin at 2:00pm, Monday August 1, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Gregory, Texas.
