Brenda Tamayo

Brenda Torres Tamayo passed away August 3, 2023. She was 56 years old. She was born September 15, 1966 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Telesforo Torres and Mary Lou Esquivel Torres.

Brenda worked as a C.N A. for a local nursing home for over 20 years. She cherished her family time, and working with the elderly, se also loved dancing, and enjoyed going to the beach. Brenda had a big heart and never met a stranger. She will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Torres, and sister, Melissa Torres.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Tamayo; son, Ray (Linda) Tamayo; father, Telesforo Torres; brothers, Telesforo Torres, Jr., Andrew (Valerie) Torres, Joe (Brandy) Torres, and Rene Torres; sisters, Priscilla Torres, Karen (Wayne) Authement, and Yvonne (Eddie) Redmond, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will start Friday, August 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm all at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.

The burial will be private.
