Billie Cannon

Billie (Buddy) Cannon passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on August 20th, 2023, at the age of 92. Her children are comforted to know that she has been reunited with those who went before her and they are rejoicing. She was born and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She loved the Texas coast so much that she made the move three different times in her life with the last move in 2021. Rockport Texas, Bulverde Texas and Denver Colorado were all places she called home.

She was proceeded in death by her son Kenneth Sammons (Rachel) her parents Bill McGee and Gussie Shaw, sister Justyn Simmons, her first husband James Schlueter; her second husband John Edward Hatton and her third husband Clarence (Tex) Cannon whom she married at the age of 82 and spent her final years cherishing and loving every minute. She said most people are lucky to find one wonderful partner in their life and she found three. And even though the men in her life were taken from her at different times, she knew she was blessed to have shared those times with each of them.

Billie is survived by three children Jimmy Schlueter (Henrietta) Timothy Schlueter and Sharon Carew (Michael), 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date.

She was loved and will be missed by all.
