Betty Campbell

Betty L. Campbell, 85, passed away peacefully at her Ingleside home on May 3, 2017. She was born on May 11, 1931 in Brenham, Texas to John C. McGregor and Lucille Russell.

Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Douglas E. Campbell; son, Frank Fogg; sister, Bonnie Vick and her parents.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nedra Kennedy and Tsianenia Hudson; grandchildren, Phaedra Taylor, Dr. Shane Kennedy, Winter Kennedy, Frank Fogg, Jesse Fogg, Libby Fogg and Farrah Brown; great-grandchildren, Laiken Salinas, Maleia Taylor, Shane P. Kennedy, Savannah Kennedy and many dear friends.

Betty was a hairdresser for 40 years, mostly servicing the Ingleside community. She loved to go dancing with her late husband Doug. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo. She enjoyed any sport her grandchildren or great-grandchildren played in. She loved to travel; Hawaii and Alaska were two of her favorite destinations. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and devotion of her home health care providers, especially Priscilla, Tammy and Cassie. They made her last days comfortable and special. Betty will be dearly missed and although she is gone, her memory, warmth and life lessons will live in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 with the funeral service commencing at 1:00 p.m. Services will take place at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Interment will follow immediately at The Palms Memorial Gardens in Portland.
