Barney Farley

Barney Coombs Farley III, 77, cherished Father, Grandfather and Husband, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2024. He entered this world on September 13, 1946 in Corpus Christi, TX, born to Barney Jr. and Elaine Farley, both life-long residents of Port Aransas, Texas. Barney also lived on his beloved island town of Port Aransas his entire life, except for his time during studies at SMU, travels in USA and Europe, and brief service with USAF. He is survived by his Daughter Collie Breah Farley (Winston Caraker) of Port Aransas, Brother Pat Farley of Corpus Christi, Sister Gayla Farley Vest of Waco, Sister Diane Farley Duzich (Marion Duzich) of Galveston, and his wife of 49 years, Christi.

Barney is also survived by Farley Aline Montez and Sabine Marie Montez, his Grandchildren who were his pride and joy, as well as Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews whom he loved as his own.

Memorial Services for Barney Farley will be held at Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church in Port Aransas, Texas, Saturday February 17th at 11:00 in the morning.

Barney's family requests donations be made in his name to his favorite conservation group, Port Aransas Conservancy Fund (5013c).
