August Vollmering

August William Vollmering passed away April 6, 2017. He was 72. He was born November 17, 1944, in Beeville, Texas to Otto and Mabel Vollmering.

He proudly served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of CVMA, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Aransas Pass, Texas and VFW in Ingleside, Texas.

He is survived by his companion, Robbie Cecelia Phillips of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers, Charles Vollmering (Jeanne) of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and Richard Vollmering (Irma) of San Diego, Texas; nephew, Charles Vollmering (Lisa) of Lytle Creek, California; niece, Shawna Bateman (John) of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 12:00 pm at VFW in Ingleside, Texas immediately followed by a motorcycle procession to the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas for an inurnment to start at 2:00 pm with full Military Honors.
