Audelia Arismendez passed away on November 23, 2023, She was 80 years old. She was born on September 17, 1943, in Sinton, TX to Genocio Alvarado and Aurora Gonzales Schultz.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She passed away due to a broken heart. Audelia's love for her husband was extraordinary and she was never the same since his passing.
Audelia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Angel Arismendez Sr., and her son, Juan Arismendez.
Audelia leaves behind a loving family including her children, Trinidad Davila, Angie Flores, Jose Angel Arismendez Jr., Gilbert Arismendez, Isidro Arismendez, Jesus Arismendez, and the late Juan Arismendez. She was also a cherished sister to George Alvarado, Sally Ramirez, Pompy Bolenbarker, Carol Adams, and Robert Schultz. Additionally, she had numerous cousins and friends who held a special place in her heart.
Throughout her life, Audelia dedicated her time and efforts to various community organizations. She served as a Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader, Assistant Director Cheerleader for the Magnolia Sharks, Team Mom for Football and Baseball teams, Queen for VFW, Cake Decorator, Crafter, and Event Organizer. After COVID-19 hit the community hard, Audelia generously donated essential baskets to those in need at Live Oak Village where she volunteered as an organizer for decor and food preparation.
The visitation will be at Charlie Marshall Funeral located at 2003 West Wheeler in Aransas Pass on Monday, November 27th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea, located at 342 S Rife St. in Aransas Pass, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
Audelia Arismendez will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
