Ashley Renee West, who tragically passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020, was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents Gabriele and George West on February 24, 1990.
Ashley was so young and full of life, we never imagined we would be planning her funeral at such a young age. She was a selfless person and easily made friends where ever she went. She would not hesitate to help a friend in need. In fact, as a child one of her many dreams was to join the Peace Corps. Ashley was as radiant as a glitter rainbow, her smile would light up her whole face. She spread joy to all who knew her, and could always find the humor in even the worst of situations. Ashley has the gift of forgiveness and never judged people who were not like her. If you needed an ear to listen, she was there. She loved sinking her toes in the sand while feeling the sun on her back. She loved bringing beauty to the world in any form, but most of all she loved her three children with her whole heart for her whole life. Ashley was a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a granddaughter. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Ashley is preceded in death by grandfather, George D. West, Jr.; grandmother, Heidi Marie Svoboda.
Left to cherish her memory her fiancé, Andrew Yardley of Ingleside, Texas; daughters, Shea Smith and Kaydence Yardley; son, Jackson Cable; father, George Wade West of Ingleside, Texas; mother, Gabriele West of Portland, Texas; sister, Kimberly Dipzinski (Marvin Dipzinski III) and their children, Ella Dipzinski, Grace Dipzinski, and Marvin Dipzinski IV of Beaumont, Texas; grandmother, Darline West of Ingleside, Texas
