Arnulfo “Arnie” Trevino Rubalcaba, 67 passed away December 31, 2020. He was born March 24, 1953 in Sinton, Texas to Leonardo F. Rubalcaba and Maria Trevino Rubalcaba.
After graduating from Ingleside High School, Class of 1971, he relocated to Freeport, Texas. He made a career as an insulation supervisor working in the Freeport Petrochemical Plants. Arnie returned to Ingleside in 2007. It was as if he’d never left, he was back home. Arnie was a hard working man and enjoyed working with his hands. He will be remembered as an incredibly generous man with an exceptional work ethic, his love for animals, being there for anyone in need and for his love of his family
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, his precious daughter, Patsy Marie Rubalcaba; partner, Kathy Cotton; sisters, Imelda Jimenez, Ilda Rubalcaba, Irma Perez; brother-in-law, Russell Hakanson; nephew, Joey Perez.
Arnie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his siblings, Leonard Rubalcaba, Jr. of El Paso, Mike Rubalcaba (Linda) of Ingleside, Idolina “Gordi” Diaz Deleon (Henry) of Aransas Pass, Cindi Hakanson, Fred Rubalcaba (Dolores), Lisa Erdelt (Jeff) all of Lake Jackson; uncle Antonio and aunt Angelina Lopez of Angleton; mother of his daughter, Sheryl Rubalcaba of Bastrop; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Mass conducted by Father Patrick Higgins will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Ingleside.
A second visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m. with Rosary immediately following Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Restwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute
