Archie L. Flirt

Archie Lester Flirt December 14, 1932 - July 29, 2024 Archie Flirt, age 91, Aransas Pass Native, passed away on July 29, 2024. Archie was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on December 14, 1932, to A. Flirt and Ellen Mathisen Flirt.

 He was drafted into the Army on August 7, 1953, and discharged on June 16, 1955, with an Honorable discharge. He married the love of his life on June 20, 1955. Archie loved Old Western Movies, Square dancing, board, and card games, and most of all loved spending time with his family

 He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Ellen Flirt, sons Scott and Wesley Flirt, and Sisters Billie Jean Grumbles and Rosalee Flirt Loupe. 

He is survived by his loving wife Ruth, daughter Ruth Bonneau and sons Archie Flirt Jr (Lisa) and David Flirt (Cheri) and brother Richard Flirt, sisters Alice Flirt Kelly and Barbara Flirt Scheibler, Grandchildren Melony Planck, David Flirt, Justin Flirt, Haleigh Isbill, Alaynna Green, Athena Grayned, Ronald Marks, Priscilla Rangel, and Jacob Flirt, and 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. 

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Interment to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
