Antonio Sanchez

Antonio “Tony” Sanchez,84, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2024. Antonio was born on May 10, 1940, to parents, Nicanor and Juana Sanchez. 

Antonio was an amazing father, grandpa, and friend. He loved his grandkids more than anything he’d check up on them, take them to school, take them to lunch, he would always want to be with them making sure they were okay. He was very passionate about the Mexican soccer team Tigre’s, whenever they came on, he was always there watching them. He loved working, he could never go without doing something. Antonio was always outside cleaning up the yard or finishing up a project, but he was always on his feet. Family was always his number one priority.

He proceeded in death by his father, Nicanor Sanchez and his mother, Juana Sanchez. 

He is survived by his sons, Orlando, Jesus, and Flaviano Sanchez, his daughters, Lore, Aleli, Febe-thavita Sanchez, his grandsons, Jesus, Ray, Abdiel Sanchez and his granddaughters, Angeles and Rebecca Sanchez. 

Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home of Rockport, Texas. Interment will follow at Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery.
