Antonia Quitugua Flores, formerly of Barrigada, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2017 at age 87 years in the comfort of her home in Ingleside, Texas. She was born on March 11, 1930 in Piti, Guam to the late Ramon Q. Quitugua (Familian Carabao) and Ana Babauta Cruz (Familian Chele). She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Ingleside Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Vicente Untalan Flores and her parents, brother Fred C. Quitugua and his wife Esperanza Quichocho, brother Carlos C. Quitugua, and sister Serafina Q. Shinohara and her husband Gil Torres Shinohara, parents-in-law Vicente Muna Flores and Ana Blas Untalan, and brothers-in-law Ezekiel and Regino Juan (John) Flores, and grandson Apollo. She is survived by her children, Vincent Flores & wife Lori (Brandon, Callan & husband Bryan Kamm (Julian), & Brent) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Leona Flores & husband Raymond Cannon (Jonathan & wife Rosalyn (James & Josephine) & Kaytee) of Orlando, Florida; Joanne Flores Moses & husband David Moses (Jake) of Centennial, Colorado; Gerald Flores & wife Rhonda (Marie (Inara) & Orion) of Louisville, Kentucky; brother Jose C. Quitugua & his wife Nina & their family; and the family of the late Fred & Esperanza Quitugua; and the family of the late Gil & Serafina Shinohara. She is additionally survived by brother-in-law Angelo U. Flores & his wife Nori & their family; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Guam Rosary started October 23, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Yigo. The schedule is: Tuesday - Friday after the 6:30 p.m. Mass, Saturday after 7 pm Mass, and Sunday after 6 pm Mass. Last day of Rosary is Tuesday, October 31.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on December 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Ingleside, Texas.
