Anna Belle Casterline Henry

Anna Belle (Casterline) Henry, 74, went to be with our Lord on April 12, 2022 , after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Annabelle (as she preferred to be called) was born on February 13, 1948, in Rockport, Texas, to L. E. and Zora Belle Casterline, and lived most of her life in Rockport-Fulton.

After graduating from Rockport-Fulton High School in 1966, she attended Texas A&I (Bachelor-Education). As she began her teaching career, she decided to further her teaching credentials and attended Stephen F. Austin (Masters-Education) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Masters-Guidance & Counseling). Annabelle had a 35-year career teaching and counseling in Florida and several school districts in Texas, retiring from Woodsboro ISD in 2007.

Her greatest loves were for her husband of 44 years, her two children, and her three grandchildren. In addition, she loved to travel, enjoyed photography and being near friends and family. A fifth-generation Texan, she was very proud of her membership in the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Annabelle is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Mike, her two children, Adam Henry (Mindy) and Katy Fletcher (Sean) and her three grandchildren, Lily, Samuel & Jaidenne. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Casterline, Leslie (Bubba) Casterline, Jr., Frank Casterline, and sister Eileen Casterline, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Rockport, from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Rockport, Texas, at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 18, 2022. There will be a private graveside service in Rockport Cemetery following church service.
