Ann Scott Hill Uhr, 61, of Rockport, TX, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, Saturday, May 18th, 2024.
Annie was born on November 23, 1962, to John Henry and Jo Beth Hill of Dallas, TX, the youngest of four siblings. She spent her formative years mostly in Dallas, Johnson City and camping at Camp Mystic in Hunt, Tx, where she was head of her bunk. She enjoyed being outdoors with a love of horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and later in life nature photography. Her love of water always brought her back to Rockport, where she finally made it her home where she met the love of her life, Mark. Ann's home away from home was Ranchito Escondido in Beeville where they spent all the holidays. Ann and Mark built a beautiful life with many accomplishments. Ann was supportive of all of their business ventures, but she was especially proud of her of her photography company, Feather Flare. Her natural talent shined through her lens and Ann was featured in Wildlife in Focus in 2019 and has many of her beautiful pictures displayed around town. Ann's pride and joy was her daughter, Lauren. She never missed a performance, life event or tear. No matter where she was she always checked in on her Lulu.
Ann is preceded in death by her father, John Henry Hill; her mother, Jo Beth Hill; and her sister Johannah Hill; Father in law, Papa John Uhr.
She is survived by her best friend and husband of 28 years, Mark Uhr; daughter Lauren Little (Ted) by former husband, Kip Attaway; stepsons, John Marshall Uhr (Courtney), Carson Uhr (Gloria), and Hunter Uhr (Rachel).
