Anita Sanchez Cruz, 75 passed away October 7, 2019. She was born July 26, 1944 in Taft, Texas to Eustollio and Simona Sanchez.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Leopoldo Cruz; 3 brothers; 2 sisters and one great-grandchild .

She is survived by Her children, Leopoldo Cruz, Jr. (Nivea), Leonardo Cruz (Stefanie), Gary Cruz (Miranda), Anita Cruz, Nancy Cruz (Michael), Crystal Pena (Christopher); siblings, Daniel Sanchez, David Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Gloria Pena, Mary Olson, Sylvia Vasquez; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Officiant will be Father Ray Yrlas, Jr. Burial will follow at Fulton Cemetery.
