Andrew Walker

On Thursday, March 16, 2023, Andrew Scott Walker, husband and father, was called home. Andrew was born on August 19, 1985 to Russell Walker, and later in life to Patricia Leatherwood, whom he adopted as Mom. After graduating from Aransas Pass High School in 2003, he enlisted in the Navy, serving as a Master at Arms. Following his service, Andrew moved around, eventually coming back to South Texas, where he met his wife, Melissa. They married on July 2, 2013 and combined their families into one, with a total of four children, Andrew Jr., Anna, Isaac, and Dezi. Andrew worked for Kiewit Offshore Services in Ingleside for 10 years, where he met many coworkers who turned into friends and family. Andrew is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Leatherwood, his Paternal and Maternal grandparents and many other family members.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Melissa, and children, Andrew Jr., Anna, Isaac, and Dezi. Father, Rusty Walker and Stepmother Sandra McCrummen Walker. Brothers, Henry (Sharon), Rudy (Lisa), and Gilbert (Kaitlyn). Sisters, Christi (Charlie), Ashley (Rusty), Raelynn, Nicole, Ashley (Alfonso), Candace, and Emily. And too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews to count. And the family dog, T-bone. All those who knew him, knew he was private, stubborn, and sometimes abrasive, but he had a heart of gold and will be missed by many. Andrew, you may no longer walk this Earth with us, but you will forever remain in our thoughts and in our hearts, you will never be truly gone. We love you. A visitation will be held on March 26, 2023, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. We invite all to come.
