Alex Antonio Flores left this earth unexpectedly on January 25, 2021, at the age of 28. He was born on November 16, 1992, in Corpus Christi TX.
Alex was an amazing role model to his 6 nieces and nephews, also an understanding friend to many. He had a heart of gold, always lending a helping hand, ears to listen, and a voice to give advice. No matter what was going on you could always depend on him. His heart was filled with much love and joy, nothing could ruin his day. Alex was a walking/talking “Google”. Got a question about anything? Ask Alex, he knows, and maybe quicker than Google and Siri. No matter whom he met in life he would always find a way to make a connection with them and leave a mark on everyone he met. During his life, he succeeded in winning UIL events in track, played football, basketball, baseball, and lifeguarding. He completed CNA classes, also 3 awards for a one-act play. Alex graduated from Medina High School in 2011 and completing his sophomore year in college. Alex had a love for music and poetry. He loved writing songs/flows and poems that would express who he was and how he saw the world. He was a very unique guy, who was proud of his heritage, and a very humble person. Only God knows why he was taken so soon.
Alex is survived by his mother Maria Villalta and father Richard Garcia. Four siblings Priscilla (Joesph), Richard Jr. (Salina), Esmeralda (Jay), and Mercedes (Steven), uncle Jose Flores, and his Godmother Bertha Ford and Godfather, Maiuricio Flores. He will continue to guide his nieces and nephews, Isabel, Isaiah, Isequel, Israel, Ivanna, and Catalaya. He will continue to be in the hearts of his eight Aunts and seven Uncles, along with seventy cousins.
