Agnes Marie King Sikes, 90, was born at Plato, Texas County, Missouri on April 28, 1928. She passed away July 18, 2018.
She and Lee were married April 6, 1945.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Daniel King and Opal Marie Bell; husband, Omar Lee Sikes; son, Michael Robert Sikes; daughter, Deborah Marie Lowhorn.

She is survived by her son Matthew (Denise) Sikes of Poteet, TX; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Aggie graduated from Plato High School at Plato, Missouri. She received a B.A. in education from Harris Teachers College in St Louis, MO. She enjoyed teaching at Bayless Consolidated Schools in St. Louis County, MO and in the Aransas County Independent Schools until her retirement in 1989.
Serving the Lord, her family, and friends were the greatest joys of her life. Her love was in doing things for others, especially family!

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, located at 301 Hwy 35 N, Rockport, TX 78382. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Rockport, TX. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
