Aaron Thigpen

Aaron Daniel Thigpen, 59, passed away May 17, 2020. He was born June 11, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jay Fred Thigpen and Norma Meyers.

He was proceded in death by his parents; brother, Teddy; brother, Harry and stepbrother Marty Kasson.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Thigpen of Aransas Pass; his son, Zachery Ryan Benevidez of Aransas Pass; a grandson, Jaxon Wyatt Benevidez of Aransas Pass; a sister, Donna Floyd; a half-brother Fred Thigpen of Ingleside; step-brother, Les Spencer of Bastrop; step-brother, Richard Spencer of Lake Jackson; step-brother, Ronnie Spencer of Aransas Pass; step-sister Shari Spencer of Ohio and step-sister, Carrie Spencer of Washington. Plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Aaron loved his family, his friends and his ranch. He was filled with so much joy when the opportunities presented themselves to have that group come together. He was ready to fire up the pit and enjoy the day with everyone. Aaron was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until service time at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
