Ruben Figueroa, 62 passed away July 2, 2021. He was born September 28, 1958 in Mathis, Texas to Gabriel and Paula Zapata Figueroa.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jose Figueroa.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Fabian Puentes (Mary Ann), Kristy Silva (Eladio), Mary Lou Sanchez; sister, Lydia Harris (Gary); aunt, Isabel Logan; grandchildren, Emerald Munoz, Malaki Puentes, Eloy Garcia (Stephanie), Anissa Garcia (Jose Fernandez), Alana Garcia (Randy Ramirez), Madison Puentes; great-grandchildren, Vivien Shaler, Dominic Garcia, Oliver Garcia, Daniel Jimenez, Xavier Jimenez, Crystal Carter, JJ Fernandez, Julius Fernandez, Ismael Garcia, Aaliyah Ramirez, Amarie Garcia, Jeremy Garcia; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm-9:00 pm with Rosary recited by Deacon Art Provencio at 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday, July 8, 2021 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, celebrant will be Father Emilio Jimenez. Interment will follow at Aransas Memorial Park, Rockport.
