Anne Carroll

Anne Veronica Carroll, age 65, of Ingleside Texas, was welcomed by her heavenly Father on January 2nd, 2023. She was surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor her memory by living their life to the fullest.

Anne was born in Newport Rhode Island on November 6th, 1957. Anne graduated from Rogers High School of Newport Rhode Island in 1978. She married Raymond W. Carroll on August 11th, 1990. Anne had two daughters who were her pride and joy. Anne worked in retail at Walmart for 11 years and retired in 2021 to enjoy more time with her grandchildren.

Anne was the kindest most patient woman you ever met and was very strong in her faith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and had a passion for spending time with her family which included her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Anne was a member of the women’s bible study at her Church, she loved attending and “spending time with the ladies,” as she’d say.

Anne was an avid fan of Family Feud and would never miss an episode. In her free time, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. She started traditions with her children that they now carry on with their own children, such as attending story time with Mr. Kippy at the library. Anne also enjoyed going out to lunch with her daughters and recently celebrated her 65th birthday at The Butter Churn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Mr. Joseph A. Sullivan and Frances M. Sullivan as well as her brother Mark A. Sullivan.

Anne is survived by her husband Raymond W. Carroll, their daughters Melissa A. Carroll (Art) and Mary A. Chrisman (Josh), stepson James R. Carroll, granddaughter Emory N. Chrisman, grandson Owen M. Chrisman, grandson Hayden B. Berlanga, brother Joseph P. Sullivan (Grace), sister Mary E. Tonet (Cornelius), sister Kathleen E. Nicholson (Earl), brother Matthew P. Sullivan (Teri) and brother John F. Sullivan.
