Charles E. Coulter, Sr was born October 23, 1933 in Ashley County, Arkansas to Maybell and James F. Coulter. He served as a Marine during the Korean War and achieved the rank of corporal. He met and married the love of his life, Sylvia Teddine Vickers, in 1957 and they had 6 children: Charles Coulter, Jr. (Missy), Cynthia Moreland (Watts), Carrie Lynn Coulter, Cammie Hyatt (Phillip), Mary Christine Coulter (deceased), and the BABY, Aaron Coulter (Theresa).
“Chuck” worked as a carpenter at Reynolds Metals Company and retired after 33 years. He has 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Teddine, his daughter, Mary Christine, his granddaughter, Amber, as well as his 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Chuck enjoyed fishing and has gone to catch “the one that got away.”

The family would like to thank Dr. Lorraine Stehn and her staff for always being there for our father; AIM Hospice and staff: Laura, Wendy, Cynthia, and David for getting us through this difficult time; Father Roy Kalayil for helping Daddy understand that God is a loving and forgiving God; and finally thanks to Jaime, Brianna, and Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (stjude.org).

A rosary will be held at 10:00am and a Memorial Service will follow at 10:30AM on July 20, 2018, in Aransas Pass, Texas.
